I decided it was time to stop feeling sorry for myself after the split and finally step out of my comfort zone. You know how hard it’s been for me to let go and move forward, but I told myself it’s time. So when the cute guy I matched with on the app asked me to see a movie, I thought, Why not?
I was skeptical at first—because, well, you know me. But from the moment we met, the chemistry was crazy. He was charming, sweet, and so easy to talk to. We clicked instantly, and the fact that we were into the same type of movies? That was just icing on the cake. Everything felt natural, easy—like I’d known him forever.
And the way he looked at me? Whew. He had this soft, shy thing about him that drew me in, but I could tell he was holding back. I could see it in his eyes—he wanted me. That innocence? Baby, it had me hooked.
We got our snacks and headed into the theater, settling into our seats. The movie was so good that we barely spoke for the first half—completely glued to the screen. But right around the middle, he slid his arm around me, and I leaned into him. Something about that small gesture just felt…right.
And then my hand found his thigh. At first, I let it sit there, just temperature checking. But I could feel the way he tensed, how hard he was trying to keep it cool. non pun Intended. It was kind of adorable, honestly. Eventually, I couldn’t resist. My hand wandered higher , and when I finally touched "Him", he froze.
I whispered In his ear, “Should I stop?” He barely managed to shake his head. “No,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
So I kept going, and let’s just say I had him completely under my spell. But of course, right when things were heating up, you had to make your grand entrance. Because of course you did. First a text, then a call, then FaceTime. It’s like you knew.
I almost ignored it, but something told me to answer. And when I did? The look on your face was priceless. You were mad, but not really. You were…intrigued. Hi I said Innocently. “Can I help you?” you asked. And I just smiled. “I bet you wish you could, don’t you?”
I propped the phone up on the seat in front of me and let you enjoy the show. We both got to watch movies that night.
